The FA, in collaboration with Gyan and his team, will release further details of the event in due course. The testimonial is expected to serve as a befitting tribute to one of Ghana’s greatest football icons, whose name remains synonymous with the nation’s footballing excellence.
Asamoah Gyan affectionately known as “Baby Jet” is Ghana’s all-time leading goal scorer, having netted 51 goals in 109 appearances for the Black Stars. He also holds the record as Africa’s top scorer in FIFA World Cup history, with six goals scored across three tournaments — Germany 2006, South Africa 2010, and Brazil 2014.
