The all-African Games which were slated for the 4th to 19th of August, 2023 have been postponed after several considerations with government and key stakeholders as preparation for the games was not yet done.
Dr Kweku Ofusu Asare, who is the Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) announced to the general public their new plans and changes as far as the All-African Games are considered.
“Following with the agreement of the date which has been agreed by the republic of Ghana the necessary changes have been made, the opening ceremony will come off on 8TH of March while the closing ceremony will be on the 23rd of March, 2024”.
He also called on all Ghanaians and stakeholders to put in maximum support to the Local Organizing Committee to complete its mandate.
“I plead with all stakeholders and all Ghanaians to support the LOC in organizing a very successful all-African Games coming in 2024.
