The low patronage of the league has been an issue that most stakeholders and football lovers are trying to find a solution to. However, the GFA have been held responsible as they believe they are the mother unit of Ghana football. In an interview with the general secretary of the Ghana Football Association, Lawyer Prosper Harrison Addo has also given his view as to how we can solve this problem.
According to him, promotion of the league must not be the work of the FA but rather a collective responsibility, and the clubs have an upper hand in involving its fans to match venues.
“The FA is made up of various clubs which constitute the body of the league, however the FA has it roles in promoting the league by making flyers and other ways all in aid to promoting the league whereas it’s the core responsibility of the club to convince its fans into filling their match venues”
He added that we should rather be concerned with the positive things of the FA and not dwell more on the bad moments.
