Gambling companies have gotten their names and symbols on the Jerseys of clubs as a means of advertisement. These acts have been there for some time as clubs showcase their sponsors to the market.
However, the era of gambling sponsors in the front of shirts is over, as premier league clubs have agreed to remove gambling sponsors from the front of their shirts on match days effective from 2026.
Bournemouth, Brentford, Everton, Fulham, Leeds, Newcastle, Southampton and West Ham are clubs having gambling sponsors on their shirts however these decisions mean from the 2026/2027 season, we won’t see them having that in match days.
