English Premier League club, Leicester City have appointed Dean Smith as interim manager until the end of the season after parting ways with former gaffer Branden Rodgers late last month.

The English Professional manager has been appointed until the end of the season as relegation looms for the Foxes.

The ex-Norwich and Aston Villa will be joined by John Terry and Craig Shakespeare.

“The challenge in front of us is clear, but it’s one myself and my coaching team have experienced before,” Smith told the club website.

“With the quality in this squad and the number of games remaining, it’s very much achievable”- he added.

Smith’s first game in charge of Leicester is away to Premier League champions Manchester City on Saturday.
