The Chipolopolo of Zambia is storming Accra for a 5-day training camp in preparation for their June 3 AFCON 2023 encounter with the Elephants of La Côte D’Ivoire.

The foot Association of Zambia confirmed in a Facebook post,
“The Chipolopolo boys are off to Accra, Ghana for an international camp ahead of June 3 Group H Afcon qualifier against Ivory Coast in Yamoussoukro”

“Aljosa Asanovic’s troops will be in Accra to acclimatize with West African conditions before flying to Yamoussoukro on June 1”

“Zambia will host Comoros on June 7 at National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka”

The Southern Africans are expected to reach Accra around 5:00 pm today.

The 2012 AFCON champions are in Group H with Ivory Coast, Comoros and Lesotho.
