Head coach of the senior national team Chris Hughton has in recent times seen monitoring the Betpawa Premier League, from last season through to this season.
With that being one of his core duties most individuals have raised concerns as to the good work done by the Black Stars gaffer.
After the inclusion of Hafiz Konkoni, Fatawu, and Jonathan Sowah into the Black Stars squad, Chris believes there is more quality in the league, however, he revealed some challenges he faces when selecting from the pool of players available at his disposal.
“If you generally gauge the national team, the Black Stars squad has most of the players playing abroad. This is always the challenge, this is a challenge for the local league”- he revealed.
The Black Stars is set to prepare for next year’s AFCON and FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
