Financial rewards of the club in the league have been an issue that keeps rising, however, the Ghana Football Association has made strategic measures in other to put things in place.
According to the President of the Ghana Football Association Kurt E. S Okraku, there is a deliberate attempt to raise funds for Division One clubs effective from next season. An amount of GH¢50,000 will be added to the initial amount.
“Division One clubs will EACH now receive GH¢80,000 next season as incentives.”- he added.
He made these statements at the ongoing 29th Ordinary Congress in Kumasi.
