As Ghana looks forward in ending the AFCON trophy drought which will be a great for the entire nation, one of Ghana’s top performers in this tournament has added his voice to the ongoing discussion.
Christian Atsu seems to be with those who are very confident that Ghana will win this year’s tournament. Speaking in a interview, the winger said that the expectation of Ghana in every tournament is to get to the finals and Ghanaians are not lowering their expectations this time.
Again he made emphasis that regardless of the current squard being dominated by young talents doesn’t mean that they can give out the best of performance on the field of play. He stressed that football has revolved and young players who are given the chance in various clubs and national teams are doing so well and that won’t be different when we support the young ones.
