The race for the 2022/2023 Betpawa Premier League title is on as the search for the winner of the league is yet to be decided. The battle between Medeama Sporting Club and Bechem United whereas the relegation battle is also on as Hearts of Oak is also facing relegation threats.
Starting from Akon Park is league leaders Medeama SC facing Tamale-based club Tamale City as they hope to grab the Betpawa Premier League title. With the Yellow and Mauve men dropping points away from home against FC Samatex last weekend an opportunity to grab the league title is presented to them as the home fans will be rest assured of a victory against Tamale City. Also, with Tamale City losing heavily to Kotoku Royals over the weekend a win for them will secure them in the league as their chances of surviving in the league depend on them.
Also, at the Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa is the Ogya Boys against Bechem United who are chasing Medeama for the league title. The Hunters hoping for a slip for Medeama SC against Tamale City will hand over the league title to them if they grab a win over Aduana Stars which will aid them with the advantage on goals difference. Whereas Aduana Stars are hoping to bounce back after their defeat to Nsoatreman United over the weekend.
The actions continue at the Berekum Golden City Park as Accra-based club Accra Hearts of Oak is hoping to escape relegation woes. The Phobians are hoping to grab all three points which will secure their fate in the league whereas Berekum Chelsea are hoping to get a respectable position in the league.
