Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel has said that he expects a ‘very tough’ game when his team tackles Newcastle United in a Premier League tie.
Chelsea will on Sunday host Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues head to the game after beating Norwich City 3-1 in their last Premier League tie.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Friday, Tuchel said Chelsea’s clash with Newcastle would be difficult because the Magpies are very strong.
He said, “Maybe, but I don’t care, I want us to win. It will be a difficult one because Newcastle is very, very strong.
“It’s a different Newcastle and they produce a lot of results, so I’m expecting a very tough game.”
Chelsea are currently in the third position on the Premier League table, behind Manchester City and Liverpool.
The kick-off time for Chelsea vs Newcastle is 3 pm.
