Honorable Ignatius Baffour Awuah, the owner and bankroller of Nsoatreman FC has added his voice to the current state of Ghana football. The member of Parliament and the owner of the premier league side has jumped into the support of Ghanaians who believe Ghana football is dead or near death deterioration citing the reduced level of our national teams and club football.

The lawmaker maintains that anybody who love Ghana football will admit that our game is not the same as it used to be in yesteryears. “We must admit that the standard of our football has fallen for both our national teams and our club football and anybody who loves the sport will agree that our football is not relevant anymore”.

He made this statement when was speaking at Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM.
Nsoatreman yesterday lost 1:2 to Accra Hearts of Oak in week 19 of the Ghana premier league whilst the Black Queens of Ghana failed to qualify for the 2024 Olympics before which the Blackstars also couldn’t make it out of the group stages of the 2023 Afcon in Ivory Coast.
