Ghanaian champions Medeama SC has been paired in group C after progressing from the preliminary playoffs qualifiers of the CAF Champions League competition for the first.
After beating Remo Stars and AC Horoya to be the first Ghanaian club to make it to the money zone of the competition since 2014, have been paired with Egyptian and most decorated club on the continent Al Ahly, CR Belouizdad of Algeria, and Tanzania side Young Boys.
The Yellow and Mauve guys hoping to make Ghana proud after being the first club from the region to make it to the group stages of the competition. They however hope to play this historic competition at their newly constructed stadium in Tarkwa.
