The second set of 2022/2023 Betpawa Premier league matchday 24 was underway at the El- Wak Sports Stadium where Legon Cities took on defending champions, Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

A game which saw both teams eager for a win, after an abysmal performance showcased by both teams on matchday 23.

The Porcupine Warriors started on a strong foot which saw their skipper Richard Agadas giving his side the lead from the spot in the 18th minute, giving the visiting team full control over the game in Accra.

The home team kept their cool as they went into the breakdown by a goal after a poor start in the first half.

Head coach of the home team, Maxwell Konadu was convinced his side will pull up strongly in the second department of the game after some prep talk during the break.

The second department started well for the home team, with the support of the home fans as Alex Aso brought his team back in action with a sweet superb header in the 69th minute which eventually was enough to pick up a point against Kotoko.

The draw has seen Legon Cities move away from the relegation zone with 28 points on the advantage of goals scored while Kotoko struggles again out of the top 4 with 36 points.

The last action is between Real Tamale United and Accra Great Olympics in Tamale.
