It’s the last round of the game for the qualification stage of the Total Energies African Cup of Nations tournament in Cote D’Ivoire as Group E still has not gotten its representative for the AFCON.
The Black Stars of Ghana are set to host the Les Fauves of the Central African Republic who are also chasing their fate for a slot for next year’s AFCON.
Ghana needs a win or draw to secure a spot in next year’s AFCON whereas Central African Republic needs a win to grab that fate.
With Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton being optimistic his side will get the needed results as they will do everything possible in other to achieve with the support of the home fans.
Whereas Raoul Savoy, head coach of the Central African Republic believes his side has just one thing in mind as they seek a win over Ghana, hoping to repeat the same fear as they did last year against Nigeria in Abuja. Even after admitting his side comes in as the underdogs, they will fight till the last minute.
The match comes off today at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi at 4 p.m.
