The Arsenal football club has announced the signing of Chelsea’s attacker Kai Havertz after completing his medicals earlier today.
The Germain International has switched camp to London rivals Arsenal after a few of £65m was agreed.
Havertz joined Chelsea in 2020 from Bayer Leverkusen in a deal worth up to £71m.
However, the 24-year-old scored the Champions League final winning goal against 2022/2023 UEFA Champions League winners Manchester City.
After his announcement, the 21 years old footballer thanked his former teammates, staff, and fans for their emmers support over the years.
” I would have preferred for you to hear my thoughts on leaving Chelsea first from myself before my thoughts on me joining my new team. This isn’t my style and it upsets me that you had to hear of it in this way. I write this letter with a heavy heart to all the fans.
A big thank you for all your support, we achieved a dream of winning the Champions League together” – he said.
