Appointments of individuals under the Kurt E.S Okraku administration have been under much questioning as to why the President of the Ghana Football Association has appointed people very close to him rather than giving everyone the chance to put in desire for that position.
The team manager of the Black Stars, AMEENU SHARDOW, believes that we should judge the people who are appointed by the GFA by their capabilities and not the case of Nepotism.
“Who are the right people and who are the wrong people? The prerogative lies within the executive committee. What should be looked at is whether the person can do the work and check if he is doing well so that it will be beneficial. That is where the focus should be.
If there is an opportunity and I know your capabilities of course I will recommend you, knowing your attributes and all that.
Since Kurt came to the office, there have been approximately 200 appointments, how many are family and friends? We should look at what they are doing and check their performance on the work. That’s where the focus should be, look if they are delivering or not” he said on Kessben TV’s Extra Time Sports.
