La Liga outfit Sevilla has shown keen interest in signing Alexander Djiku from RC Strasbourg in the French Ligue 1.
The Ghanaian centre back had a remarkable season for Strasbourg after making 31 appearances, playing 2694 minutes and scoring 1 goal in the French Ligue 1 for the blue and whites.
The six-time Europa League champions have already lost Brazilian centre back, Diego Carlos to Aston Villa for £26m and are on the verge of losing Jules Koundé to Chelsea in the English premier league.
RC Strasbourg is likely to reach an agreement in the region of €9m with Sevilla for Djiku.
Promoted side, Fulham have also expressed interest in signing Djiku to augment their squad for the 2022/23 season.
