Former Blackstars Captain, Stephen Appiah has disclosed his displeasure with how our football system is been managed. According to the former Blackstars player, he believes football must be run by footballers and not by Big grammar.
In an interview with Kumasi-based station, Sompa FM, the former Juventus player spoke about how he has sometimes felt those in charge are not championing the good course of the game.
“Sometimes the legends, the former players don’t get the chance. I have observed that football is run by footballers. It is not about the grammar that you will use. I hope that one of us will one day have the chance to come and lead Ghana football.
“Some of us are very humble…We all want to help,” Stephen Appiah said.
However many Ghanaians have called for the administration of the former Blackstars Captain thus he has served as a member of the technical team of the Blackstars.
