The Black Stars of Ghana booked their place into next year’s Total Energies African Cup of Nations tournament in Cote D’Ivoire after beating the Les Fauves of Central African Republic by 2 goals to 1. Even though Ghana got the desired results many have raised their concern about the poor performance of the Black Stars under head coach Chris Hughton.

Former Ghana Football international Samuel Inkoom believes that the Black Stars were tactically disciplined and played according to the instructions of the coach.

According to him, he did not see anything wrong with the performance of the stars, he told Joy so.

“I haven’t seen anything bad from the Black Stars. I think it was a game plan. We needed one point to qualify” – he said.

Inkoom disclosed that football has developed well, however, every play is to instructions and the most important thing is the results.

“Football has changed. You have to listen to instructions. Players have to be disciplined. At the end of the day, we have to look at the results” – he added.
