The Black Stars of Ghana took on the Les Fauves of Central Africa Republic at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in their last Group E Qualifies game. With the Black Stars of Ghana grabbing a win over Central African Republic.

Antoine Semenyo came off the bench and assisted the winning goal for the day, however, Semenyo has revealed the challenge for the day as the state of the pitch was really poor.

According to Semenyo, the pitch made their game plan very difficult but at the end of the day, they managed to grab a win which gave them the slot to next year’s AFCON in Cote d’Ivoire.

“That was a good game, it was a tough game, the pitch wasn’t too good, and the opposition surprised us, and we were really good” – he said.

“They caught us by surprise and I’m happy to say I came on and provided the assist for the winner, so I can’t complain.”- he added.
