It was the last round of games of matchday 2 of the 2023/2024 Betpawa Premier League.
With some interesting results coming over from Friday through to Saturday, much was expected going into this game.

Starting from Accra was Accra Hearts of Oak up against Nsoatreman. With the Phobians optimistic about getting their first victory in the ongoing GPL season, the home team started off the game on a high note as they had the opener from Rasmos Kasahala in the 4th minute. A derby well completed for the striker as his goal stood tall after the stipulated 90 minutes.

The action however continued at the Nana Agyeman Badu Park as last season’s runners-up, Aduana Stars Welcome Defending Champions Medeama SC home. With a tense rival between the two clubs, the first department was even as both teams were very disciplined. The second department however took a different narrative as the home team rained two goals to secure them the total 3 points. The yellow and Mauve guys will have to wait for another week to register their first win in the league.

At Nana Fosu Gyeabour was another cracker as Bechem United logged horns with Dreams FC.
With Bechem United mastering their authority at home after a disappointing start to the season last week.
