It was the first leg of the preliminary playoffs qualifiers of the CAF Champions League as Ghanaian premier league winner Medeama SC hosted Nigeria side Remo Stars at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
The Yellow and Mauve guys hoping to take advantage of the home fans to start their campaign on a high note whereas Remo Stars were hoping to pick up respectable results away from home.
The first department of the game sta start started with one side as they got the lead from Jonathan Sowah in the 22nd minute which however has their total control over the game.
The second department was even as the home team held on to their early goal as they ended the first leg in a win to their favour.
Medeama SC will travel to Nigeria to play Remo Stars next week as they hope to complete their mission in Nigeria.
