Accra-based club Accra Hearts of Oak is putting things in place for the upcoming season after an abysmal performance by the Phobians in the just-ended 2022/2023 Betpawa Premier League. From the appointment of new technical members ( thus, a new sporting/ technical director and an assistant Coach) as they hope to start up the rebuild process.
Board member of the club Dr Nyaho Tamakloe has urged the fans of the club to throw out their maximum support to the Bank Roller and the Owner of the club Togbe Afede XIV so that their aim will be achieved.
According to Mr. Tamakloe, Togbe is a visionary leader and as such you need to give him the maximum support needed for the job. He made these statements in the club’s management meeting.
“When you have a leader who has a vision and he knows what to do for a club, you follow him and if the person is not pulling his weight, I will just reject him. At my age, I’m still a member of the board and I attend meetings and I want to make sure that this club succeeds”- he said.
He also added that the right structures and approach must be employed in situations when one wants to register his or her grievances.
“There are various structures, if you have any problem approach the people in charge and they will know how to pass on the info. But if you think you know it all and can handle it all, then you should know that you are in trouble.
The structures that are being put in place, so let’s be patient and give time. But I can assure you that Hearts of Oak will never say die”- he added.
