It was the day to unveil the new head coach of the Accra-based club Legon Cities after weeks of announcing the appointment of former Aduana Stars gaffer Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin.
Coach Fabin disclosed that his initial intention was to take a break from football, especially in the Betpawa Premier League as he tend to reflect on his journey so far but had to change that decision after being approached by Legon Cities.
“I discussed with you after Aduana’s job that I will take a break from football, especially in the premier league but the call from Legon Cities came in, and when I saw the project I was compelled to take the job so we can push the club to the next level” – he said.
He added that he is really happy and he believes with the cooperation of every organ in the team, they will achieve their goal.
“I’m very happy and I love challenges like this even though I’m now being I, I have already started work and I believe with the cooperation of the management and the technical staff, we will be able to send the team to the next level”- he told the media earlier today.
