It’s the start of the season as the community shield has always been the way to start the English Premier League season over the years.

They proceeded to the penalty shootout as the Gunners beat the Cityzens 4-1 on penalties.

However, making It the second Community Shield and third trophy in total for Mikel Arteta since he joined Arsenal in 2019.
It’s Community Shield number 17 in Arsenal history.
