GHANA PAIRED IN GROUP I WITH MALI, COMOROS, AND MADAGASCAR AMONG OTHERS FOR THE 2026 FIFA WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS

It was the draw for the 2026 FIFA world cup qualifiers in Cote D’Ivoire at the 46th African Confederation Congress in Cote D’Ivoire.

With every country hoping to know their opponent ahead of the qualifiers, the Black Stars of Ghana were paired in Pot 2 where they had to be seeded.

After a draw from Ghanaian legend Asamoah Gyan, Ghana was paired with Mali, Comoros, Madagascar, Chad, and Central Africa Republic.

Ghana is hoping to top the group which will serve as an automatic qualification for the 2026 FIFA world cup
