Football in Ghana has gone down the drain, however, most stakeholders have attributed it to the development stages of our game.
At the ongoing 29th Ordinary Congress of the Ghana Football Association in Kumasi, the Honourable Minister for Youth and Sports Hon. Mustafa Yussif has identified the grassroots stage of our football as the main way to bring back Ghana Football back.
According to him, the blood of Ghana Football lies within the grassroots development.
“Grassroot development is the lifeblood of Ghana Football” – he said.
He later added that the Ghana Football Association will support each Premier League team with GH¢50,000 and he hopes the GFA will make good decisions to strengthen our football.
“The Ghana Football Association will support each Premier League team with 50,000 Ghana Cedis to establish a youth side.
I hope that after this Congress GFA will make a decision that will strengthen our football”.
