The last game of matchday 31 of the 2022/2023 Betpawa Premier League season was on at Dawu Park saw defending champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko visiting bottomed-placed team Kotoku Royals as the Porcupine warriors hope to move to the top four after slipping off several weeks ago.

The Porcupine Warriors exhibited their dominance over Kotoku Royals as they went ahead just 8 minutes into the game through Mfegue Omgba which eventually settled them in Dawu. The Porcupine Warriors however continued to dominate play as they were dictating every aspect of the game as Mfegue Omgba had the second of the day after 20 minutes of giving his side the lead.

The home fans eventually began to pick up their pieces as they pulled one back 8 minutes of going behind twice through Richard Dzikoe as they went into the break looking focused for a comeback in the second half.

With the home team hoping to change the narrative in the second department of the game, the narrative turned as the visitors got the third of the day just three minutes into the second department of the game via Dwamena Rocky as they managed to protect their lead till the blast of the whistle. The win however pushes the Porcupine Warriors to the 4th position on the league log with 47 points, a point above Berekum Chelsea.
