The first game of 2022/2023 Betpawa Premier League matchday 31 commenced today at the Nana Kronmansah Park as relegation threat Nsoatreman FC hosted Tamale-based club, Real Tamale United as both teams hope to fight for their fate in the league.
With the home team hoping to escape relegation woe, a win was their ultimate target in getting into the game.
However, the game started well for the home side as they were swift in connecting some passes, which saw them register their authority in the early hours of the game as the fans kept rallying behind them.
With the first half being boring without a goal, both teams went into the break looking disappointed as they were keen on grabbing a point today.
The second department started well for the home side again as they went ahead just two minutes into the first half through Emmanuel Kotei which calmed the nerves among the supporters.
Nsoatreman however managed the game well as Emmanuel’s goal was enough to secure them all important three points, pushing them a little above the relegation zone to replace Real Tamale United at the 11th position with 40 points.
