Accra-based club, Accra Hearts of Oak are still without an official head coach, after parting ways with Serbian football coach, Slavko Matic. However, the Phobians are struggling to grind some results together as they hope to chase the ongoing 2022/2023 Betpawa Premier League title.
Head coach of Nkoranza Warriors, Mr. Frimpong Manso has revealed that he believes David Ocloo is one for the future as Hearts wants to build a formidable squad. According to the 63-year-old manager, Hearts should have confidence in him and give him the mandate as the main head coach of the team.
“If Hearts need him for the future, and looking at his progress now, just give him the chance so he will continue his duty. The more he stays with the club, he gets to know the players, and management and gains love from the supporters.
He added that he knows Ocloo came as an assistant coach, but the situation on the ground demands that he acts as a head coach and he has done pretty well.
“He indeed came as an assistant, and the situation around demands he acts as the head coach as to whether he should be confirmed or not, I think they should give him that confidence to manage the team”.
