It was the last game of the 2022/2023 Betpawa Premier League matchday 26 at the Accra Sports Stadium as Accra-based club, Accra Hearts of Oak welcomed new babies Nsoatreman FC under floodlight as they fight for all important three points.
With the Phobians coming into the game very prepared as they eye a return to the top four, Nsoatreman was hoping to move far above the relegation zone.
The Phobians started well as they forced the away team to get the opening through an own goal from Philip Ofori in the 11th minute.
Ofori’s goal was however the difference as both teams went into the break, the home team quickly responded in the second department of the game through Baafi Yaw in the 66th minute as the Phobians were totally in control of the game.
The visitors pulled one back quickly, just two minutes after the home team had their second of the day through Samuel Ofori eventually they had to see red in the last minute of the game as they tend to get a point back home.
This win, however, pushes the Phobians to the 3rd position on the league log while Nsoatreman is just above the relegation zone with a goals difference.
