2023 President Cup: Asante Kotoko faces Accra Hearts of Oak.

It’s another wonderful weekend as we experience some exciting fixtures for matchday 25 of the 2022/2023 Betpawa Premier league season.
With the majority of the games being witnessed already, most football lovers are hopeful their team flourish well in the last sequence of matches.

The action begins today at the Theater of Dreams (Dawu), as Accra-based club, Accra Hearts of Oak visits Dreams FC as they battle it all out for the three points. The Phobians come into this game after a win over Accra Lions last Wednesday whereas Dreams FC lost to Bechem United by a lone goal.

As stated by Assistant Coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, David Oclu, he believes that the title chase for the Phobians is not over hence they are optimistic about securing the title again after the tenure of their former gaffer, Samuel Boadu during 2019/2022 season.

Elsewhere in Accra, In form side, Accra Lions will hope to restart again after their painful defeat to regional rivals Accra Hearts of Oak last Wednesday. Accra Lions will host Kumasi-based club, Kumasi King Faisal as they battle it all out for the most important three points.

With the Insha Allah Boys chasing an escape from the relegation zone, however, Accra Lions are hoping their chase for their first Premier League title is still in course.

The action continues on Sunday in Kumasi, As defending champions, Kumasi Asante Kotoko will host Tamale-based club, Real Tamale United after a drop in points against Legon Cities during mid-week.
With the Porcupine Warriors dropping off from the top four, a chase for the maximum of three points will be on point for their aim in defending the league title.

The action ends on Monday as Bibiani Goldstars welcomes Legon Cities to Dun’s Park. Legon Cities picked up a vital point against Kotoko at home while Bibiani lost to Medeama away from home.
