GPL REPORT: HEARTS OF OAK SUFFERS LATE DEFEAT, KOTOKO EXTENDS LEAD AND OTHERS

It was the first game of matchday 21 of the 2022/2023 Betpawa Premier league as Accra-based club, Accra Hearts of Oak visited Bibiani Goldstars at Dun’s park.

With the Home side getting an early lead in the early stage of the game, a goal from Evans Owusu in the 4th minute gave the home side a bit of relive as they tend to dominate play in the first department of the game giving the Phobians a tough encounter.

The second half saw the Phobians trying to unlock the defence of the home side while the home fans pulled up great support for their team.

A late strike from Isaac Mensah in the dying hours of the game 90+9, stole the points for the Phobians as they grab a point away from home, making them climb to the 4th position on the league log with 32 points.
