The FA President of France Football Federation has resigned as the president of the France football Federation during this morning‘s executive board committee.

Noel had stepped back from his duties at the start of January, as requested by the committee, in the wake of his dismissive comments on Zinedine Zidane’s chances of becoming France manager, and pending the conclusions of an audit into the organization. The conclusions of the government-mandated audit, which were released two weeks ago, have notably accused him of multiple instances of sexual harassment and inappropriate behaviour, which he denies.

Le Graet had briefly resumed his role as president for this morning’s session during which France women’s manager Corinne Diacre’s future will also be at stake when he announced his resignation forty minutes into the meeting.

Le Graet was in charge of French Football from 2011 and was due to finish his fourth term in 2024.
