The race for the 2022/2023 UEFA Champions League continues as Inter Milan welcomes FC Porto to San Siro as they battle it out for a slot in the Quarter Finals of the competition.
Inter who are 15 points behind League leaders Napoli in their domestic championship will begin their latest attempt to progress beyond the UEFA Champions League (UCL) last 16 for the first time since 2010/11 in good form, after a five-match unbeaten run in all competitions winning 4 matches and recording just a Draw.
This is their first meeting with FC Porto since they played four times in 2005 with Inter winning 2, Losing 1 and Drawing 1 including a 4-2 aggregate win for the Italians at this stage in the 2004/05 season.
Losing just one of their last 12 competitive home games also suggests the Italians could take charge of the tie at the San Siro.
FC Porto on the other hand is confident after topping Group B with 12 points while Inter placed second in Group C behind Bayern Munich with 10 points.
