The decision to appoint Hughton comes following the resignation of Otto Addo as the team’s head coach after Ghana’s exit from the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The 64-year-old Ghanaian-born English manager will be assisted by George Boateng and Mas-Ud Dramani.
