The Los Angeles Lakers LeBron James became the NBA’s all-time points record holder after scoring 38 against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night at the Abdul-Jabbar courtside to see his record surpassed, James needed 36 points to overhaul the record.

After a 130-133 defeat to Oklahoma City, James put up 38 points to break the all-time NBA record by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar close to four decades.

James’ first-half spectacular performance, scoring 20 points his full potential as an offensive talent after two decades. This performance has seen James push his career total to 38,388 points and surpassed Kareem’s record.

This victory saw the 38-year-old who has been nursing a sore ankle in the run-up to the game.
After reaching this hallmark, James, full of excitement and emotions, thanked his family, friends and supporters for the maximum support and prayers.
