Kumasi Asante Kotoko won their 25th Ghana Premier league trophy as it was officially presented to the club after their 3-0 win over Elmina Sharks during the coronation match at Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Imoro Ibrahim scored from a free-kick to give Asante Kotoko the lead against Elmina Sharks, and Cameroonian forward George Mfegue pounced later with a double to make it 3-0.

Asante Kotoko secured the title about a week ago when they drew 1-1 at the Obuasi Len Clay stadium against Ashanti Gold Sporting Club, and have now been presented with the league trophy ahead of the last match of the season.

Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum guided the Kumasi-based club to their 25th league title and first major trophy in his coaching career.
