Self acclaimed Prophet, Kwabena Asiamah Ajagurajah has made an outrageous revelation that, Kumasi Asante Kotoko will never lift any African club cup again.

Speaking on Angel tv sports programme dubbed Angel sports live, he said “Kotoko won their last African cup in 1983 due to spiritual intervention from my father, who was a renowed spiritual Prophet those days”

“Kotoko, under the leadership of SK Boafo bought a plane ticket for my father in their trip to Egypt in order to save the team spiritually against Al Ahly. I can confidently say that, the Egyptians were prepared spiritually than Kotoko because they buried two cows alive prior to that crucial encounter” He added.

“The match was very difficult for Kotoko to win but through the spiritual guidance from my father, they were able to get a draw in that particular final encounter”.

The vociferous Prophet further stated that, “Kotoko has failed to honour and appreciate my father’s spiritual help till date and they will never win any African club trophy till they do the needful.
My father is still alive therefore i will advice the current Kotoko leadership to do anything possible to reverse that curse because the blood of my father can only save them” He reiterated.

The Porcupine warriors drew with Al Ahly in Egypt and won the return leg by a lone goal through Opoku Nti in 1983 to win their 2nd African club champions cup after 1970.

Since winning the elite African club cup in 1983, the Porcupine warriors has played in three continental finals and it has all ended in defeat for the Ghanaian giants.

Kotoko lost 7-6 on aggregate to Zamalek in African champions cup, lost African cup winners cup to Wydad club athletic of Morocco in 2002 and lost the virgin CAF confederation cup to their bitter rivals, Accra Hearts of oak in 2005.
