Sports, in general witnessed one of the saddest moment on Saturday, September 19, 2020, when young talented footballers of Africa vision soccer academy lost their lives after a player registration exercise at Afrancho near Kumasi.

Countless tributes were received from key stakeholders like FIFA, CAF and some sporting personalities across the globe to the respective families of the young talented fallen heroes.

They were laid to rest on Thursday 1st October 2020 at Offinso Maase pending a modernized tomb for easy identification of the fallen heroes.

Today, 31st March 2021 the much-awaited tomb has been unveiled in honour of the fallen young talented soccer heroes at Offinso Maase in the Ashanti region.

Dignitaries present at the unveiling were Nana Ama Serwaa Nyarko (Offinso Hemaa), Hon. Solomon Kesse(Acting Offinso MCE), Nana Bonsu(National Sports Authority rep), Mr Nurudeen(Offinso municipal sports coordinator) and GFA representative.
