The venue for the upcoming Ghana Football Association elections is Tamale, as most stakeholders have expressed their concern about the agreement of Tamale as the venue for the election.

Former Director of Communication for the Ghana Football Association Mr. Sannie Daara has expressed his excitement for the decision to use Tamale region as the Region for this year’s election. According to Mr. Daara, he does not see anything wrong with the Ghana Football Association choosing Tamale for the election.
He made these statements to the media after going through his support behind the current president of the Ghana Football Association Mr. Kurt E. S Okraku after the submission of his nomination forms.

“Why are they afraid, is Tamale not in Ghana? Or it’s in Togo or Ivory Coast, or Tamale is not in Ghana? So if we decide football goes here one day and move to another place, what’s wrong with that? The last time, we had the Congress in Kumasi it went well, so why the here and cry this time?
Are they afraid of Tamale, there are no lions in Tamale, human being live there and they play football, must it always have to be in Accra”- he said.
