Football in Ghana is on the declining stage as many stakeholders and past footballers have registered their concerns as to why our football is on the decline stage.

Ghana has seen a lot of heartbreaks in terms of our national teams and clubs’ performance under Kurt Okraku’s administration, however he other the other hand believes he has done well as the football in Ghana is on the rise, but had to get a shock to that after an abysmal performance from the Black Meteors in the ongoing U-23 Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Morocco.

Ghanaian former International Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has also registered his concern as they why our football is sinking, according to him, the path to which our football is heading is very dangerous and needs to be critically looked at as soon as possible.

In an interview with Accra-based station Joy FM, Agyemang Badu poured out his feelings as far as the football of Ghana is concerned.

“When I talk, I don’t get anything from it, but I’m talking because the sport that gave me something, is about to die and I can’t just look on. The Ghana Football Association needs to organize an emergency meeting tomorrow and take stock of what’s happening. Where our football is heading is dangerous” – he told Joy Sports.
