It’s been five months since the taking over of Graham Potter as the Chelsea manager after a successful change of ownership from the Abramovich era.
The change in ownership saw a sudden change of the top handlers of Chelsea football club including their head Coach Thomas Tuchel, who in his 2 years spell at Chelsea was a real phenomenon, winning 40 out of the 67 games in the English Premier League, drawing 18 and recording 9 losses. The former German manager won them their second UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super League and their first ever FIFA Club World was sacked just seven into the season after a $290 million spending during the summer just three months into the Todd Boehly Era.
In an attempt to rebuild the Chelsea squad, Brighton and Hove Albion Coach Graham Potter was appointed to turn things around for the blues on a five-year contract.
However, after an impressive start for the blues, the 47-year-old English professional manager has not lived up to expectations after spending £323 million in January.
The blues are currently 9th on the league log after 22 games, winning just 8, losing 7 and drawing 7.
Most fans are agitated at the results from the English manager while a few are hopeful including the owners of the club led by Todd believe that the project is one for the future.
