Matchday 1 of the 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League was through for some clubs and some clubs tasted defeat on matchday 1.
Among them were Bibiani Goldstars as they got whipped by Berekum Chelsea away from home.
Goldstars however return home for the first time this season as they will host Kumasi-based club Kumasi Asante Kotoko at Dun’s Park.
Head coach of the side, Michael Osei is aiming to beat Kotoko at home as a boost for the season.
“We are aiming to beat Kotoko to boost our season after defeat in our first game of the season. We lost to Chelsea, so at all costs, we need to get the whole three points at home against Kotoko and I believe in the team that we can make it” he said.
The action comes off on Saturday at Dun’s Park.
