South African Football Association CEO, Tebogo Monthlante has pointed out the possibility of considering an alternative to get a replay after FIFA dismissed their appeal for a replay in a world cup qualifying match against Ghana.
“We received the decision without details and we will request FIFA for reasons and consider our options” Monthlante told the media.
FIFA, earlier on, released its decision on the November 15 protest filed by SAFA and it reads “To declare the protest lodged by the South African Football Association on 15 November 2021 inadmissible”.
South African Football Association has a chance to appeal the decision by the Football governing body if they find the decision unsatisfactory.
