Belgian professional football manager Vincent Kompany has extended his stay at Burnley after signing a 5-year deal with the club.

The 37 years old gaffer who guided Burnley into a phenomenal victory as winners of the 2022/2023 Championship league which eventually brings them back to the 2023/2024 English Premier League has penned down a long-term deal to continue his managerial stay at the Turf Moor until 2028.

Despite approaches from some Premier League clubs, Vincent believes it a good step in the right direction to continue his stay in Burnley.

“It feels right to sign for the next five years”-the coach said.
