The most anticipated game of the UEFA Champions League fixture tonight was the battle between Bayern Munich and Manchester City at the Allianz Arena.

A game which was still not settled after a 3-0 win for the Citizens in the first leg had to experience another 90 minutes of football.

With the home team confident to overturn their fortunes, the visitors were also composed as they hope to maintain their advantage to the last 4 of the competition.

The game started well for the home team, after dominating the first 10 minutes were halted after the visitors were handed a penalty but eventually was blasted wide by Erling Haaland.

A miss was a great relief to the home fans as they continued to cheer up their team for a miracle but unfortunately was silenced shortly by Erling Haaland as he gave the visitors the lead into the first break.

The second department had little hope for the home team, as they pulled one back from the penalty spot which was not enough to sail them through to the last 4 of the competition.

However, Manchester City comes up against defending champions Real Madrid in the semi-finals of the competition.
