The Black Meteors started well in the first minute of the department but eventually lost their guard after 10 as the Red Devils of Congo took over and dominated play in the first 45 minutes of the game.
The second department started well as captain of the side, Afriyie Barnieh was taken off for Emmanuel Yeboah as they managed to pull three goals, one from Ernest Nuamah and two from Yeboah respectfully.
The Red Devils came up again after a dramatic two late goals from DR Congo.
The Black Meteors will face the host nation on Tuesday as they hope to book a spot in the next stage of the competition.
