It’s the last set of games for the U-23 Total Energies African Cup of Nations in Morocco as some teams hope to grab their qualification to the last 4 of the tournaments. The Black Meteors need to defeat Guinea tonight to qualify for the next stage of the competition.

With the Meteors winning their opening fixture against DR Congo, they were humiliated by host nation Morocco whereas Guinea bounced back from a defeat in their opening fixture against Morocco through a win over DR Congo.

As stated by the Head Coach of the Meteors, his men did not have enough rest which resulted in the heavy defeat to Morocco and they are optimistic that they will go past the group stages and hopefully grab a spot in next year’s Olympic games in Paris after missing out since 2004.

With Guinea also being a debutant of this competition, they will love to repeat the feat of Ghana as they were able to place fourth in the debut season.
